What Can We Learn From the Pittsburgh Murders?

When Heather Heyer was killed in Charlottesville, I had listened the night before to Janine Pirro’s hate rant on her Fox News show. What she delivered was effectively a call to arms directed at the haters among Fox’s diverse audience. And the next day, as the Fox haters assembled in Charlottesville, we all realized there was a good chance that some people might die that day. Heather Heyer was one of three Americans to die as a direct consequence of the propaganda put out by Donald Trump and Fox News. One neo-Nazi plowed his car into a crowd and two National Guard pilots were killed in a helicopter crash. They were trying to keep people safe.

pittsburgIt’s important to know that NAZI and NATIONALIST share the same root: NATAL – having to do with birth. A simple enough word on its face. However, the original German Nazis were sold on that same meme that Donald Trump is peddling now: being born “here” not only makes you better than foreigners, it instructs you that foreigners are dangerous and may be considered like vermin to be disposed of.

And now I ask you this – and I am sorry to use the metaphor, but I find it appropriate. How many Jews did Hitler kill? This is a trick question, but the right answer is actually zero. Hitler did not personally kill any Jews that we know of. However what Adolf Hitler did was make German Nationalists hate Jewish people with propaganda that stereotyped Jews as outsiders, invaders and the source of their financial problems – all the same things that Donald Trump says about “immigrants”, “caravans” and the “brown-skinned invaders”. That transferred hate was enough to allow enough of the German Nationalist party members to justify killing six million Jews and many other European minorities as well. – Many felt good or right about doing it. Hitler effectively killed Jews with his words. He was quite the rally speaker. I’m sure  you have seen excerpts. Robert Bowers felt he was doing his duty killing as many Jews as possible – just like the Nazis.

Adolf Hitler killed 6 million Jews. It’s a long established meme – uncontested by all bona fide historians. So why don’t we dare say Donald Trump killed Heather Heyer and eleven totally innocent, elderly Jewish people in Pittsburgh?

But we don’t. And by not calling the president out and holding him and Fox responsible for these murders, we are giving the minority haters both the cover and the time to regroup and re-strategize.  And it’s very dangerous. If we don’t stand up now, the Pittsburgh killings may well be the canary in the coal mine of a new wave of American violence directed against many minorities – and not just Jewish people. Native Americans, Mexicans, blacks and browns, the elderly and sick – are all on the hate radar screens of White Nationalists, which is what most so-called Nationalists are today.

Trump will continue to spread hate as long as he is in power. Why must he do this? Why won’t he evolve? It could just be that he wants to keep the money he has stolen over the years, both as a businessman and during his presidency. Are his hateful words simply motivated to obstruct justice for the crimes he and his family have perhaps committed to win the presidency?

One thing for sure, nothing about what Trump is doing and saying is about any commitment to some deeply held conviction. So yes, Trump does not hate Jews. However, Trump needs the votes of the Jew haters to stay in power and keep his money. If people die for this, so be it.  The same logic applies to blacks, Mexicans, immigrants, LGBT, the sick and even women. Trump only needs the votes of those that hate these minority groups plus the votes of the uber-greedy to win again. He’s now working hard on getting those votes.

Vote as if your life depends on it. It could.

Why Donald Trump Is Responsible for the Pittsburgh Killings. What We Must Do.

One thing for sure, nothing about what Trump is doing and saying is about any commitment to some deeply held conviction. Trump does not hate Jews. Trump needs the votes of the Jew haters to stay in power and keep his money. If people die for this, so be it.  And any Jew who votes for Trump is voting for Jew haters to be empowered. The same can be said of blacks, Mexicans, immigrants, the sick and even women. Trump needs the votes of all those that hate these minority groups and the votes of the uber-greedy. He’s working hard on getting those votes this week. It will include cheating at the  polls.

The GOP clings to Donald Trump because he does their dirtiest work for them. He lies for them. They are getting their tax breaks for billionaires and judicial appointees for now – and whatever kickbacks they can arrange for those perks.  When they are done with Trump, which may be soon after the election, they will cast him out stating they were fooled by Trump and were not complicit. That will be all lies, but I wonder if Trump knows that it’s coming. Trump will have his et tu Brute moment as soon as he is deemed to be no longer valuable to the GOP and their billionaire donors.

All the above embodies how important the vote is next Tuesday. They now say the Blue Wave should carry the House. Count on Trump’s GOP to try and fix that.  Those who want the country to turn in a better direction should please turn out in records numbers on 11/6. Vote as if they are coming for you. This election should not  even be close. Remember: Donald Trump always tries to cheat to win. Winning is more important to him than playing by any rules. Any close races he will find a way to win.

What I really don’t get is why any GOP senator up for re-election holds his or hers seat next Tuesday. A vote for any GOP candidate at any level – is a vote for more of what we have witnessed this week. And the only one who really benefits from all this is the billionaire class and Putin, who is laughing at us this week in the Kremlin. He even said, “America is no longer a super power”.

The Presidential Oath: I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

There is one more thing we have to start holding Trump responsible for – lying. People don’t know that the presidential oath is part of the constitution.  (Article II, Section One, Clause 8.) By not being honest and reliable with one’s words and inciting hate with words like “enemies of the people” and “invaders”, by dividing the nation into two armed camps – he is not doing his best to defend America. He may be doing his best to destroy it as we know it.  And even if he says this is his best, its no longer good enough for people who love this country.

I am sure it will never be illegal to lie in general. But one who has taken an oath of office should not be allowed to lie over and over again. We need to fix that. There’s a lot we have to fix, but if we allow our representatives to lie, we will always have criminals running our government. It just is not good enough any more.

Donald Trump should not be good enough for a person who believe in a righteous god as well. So this weekend, I am asking clergymen in all religions to find their own way of asking their congregations to pay their respects for the people murdered in Pittsburgh – and vote with good conscious for those who represent the goodness in all our Bibles. We all know the Golden Rule. It does not say immigrants are invaders,  Mexicans are rapists, or Africans are from sh*thole countries.

Vote as if your life depends on it.

Thank You.

Racists, Corrupt Politicians & Terrorists Have Something in Common: Cowardice

Heather Heyer is the first visible martyr in the resistance. Rest in power.

heyerWhen you fight a disease, you can treat the symptoms, but you won’t get a cure unless you remove the infected cells or halt the root cause of the disease.  When a society has a disease, the logical options to a cure are the same: remove the infected cells or stop the cause of the disease. The US government is suffering from internalized greed disease. Unless cured, it is usually fatal to a society.

Background:

They called it the roaring twenties because there were excesses of wealth but also of poverty. The Depression of 1929 happened when the wealth gap reached a breaking point.  FDR’s New Deal was about checking the wealth gap. Then something happened in the early 1980’s. The progressive tax system, which was the way we paid for the New Deal, started disappearing. Monopolies, once legislated against, were allowed to profligate. Money started shifting to the top 10% – and ultimately to the top 1%. This trend was amplified by inevitable technology- the internet revolution, robotics and then outsourcing.

Progressive taxation had been clearly keeping the middle class in the middle. So why did it go away? There’s only one logical answer: Politicians got bought by the corporations that benefited by the tax changes. Buying politicians is probably highly illegal. But our politics is now so corrupt that a fraternity of players vowed to silence is protecting the criminals within. After all, they all have dirt on each other. Thick as thieves, they used to say.

What does political corruption have to do with terrorism and racism?

People who are generally content with the creature comforts of life are not easily enrolled into violence and hate.  Deprived and forgotten classes are easier to sell on the notion that other races of men and immigrants are taking their jobs! That meme breeds hate of the others. And that results in a divided nation – which is obviously what Trump wants. If he did not want this, he would speak differently.

Heather Heyer was a victim of an act that was inspired by the division in our nation that Trump stokes daily with his words. Ironically, the his followers have been sold the hate others meme by the very same people that keep them from the creature comforts and needs that could set them free of their hatred. . The GOP pulls this off with lies and a news station that is more propaganda than news.

This scenario is pretty much the same in the Middle East. Could ISIS or MS-13 enroll people to fight for them if their people had something hopeful to live for? Not so easily. Saudi Arabian citizens are fairly well off and we don’t often see their youth running to fight for ISIS. But the Saudi government is sort of like the Koch Brothers of the Middle East. They promote hatred and terrorism while not partaking in it. They squash their free press.  Trump is doing the same thing as best he can.

We can minimize the effects of greed disease in our society, and I argue we were in the process of doing that after WW11 – during our “golden years” from 1950 to 1964.  But Ronald Reagan got sold on the idea of protecting big business, most likely from GE, whose TV show he used to host in the 1960’s things began to change.  Then in the 1980’s, Gordon Gecko said “greed is good”, and somehow this was not rejected by the nation as a whole; it was largely embraced.  At that point, the golden age of America was over.

Greed is the root cause of racism, Nazism and terrorism. Jesus knew this 2000 years ago, and he was killed for it – by the greedy.

There are honest ways to fight for what you believe in. But today we are witnessing greed infused with cowardice. Greedy cowards don’t want to climb the ladder the way honest, loving people see fit to. They see short-cuts. The greedy will lie, steal, hide and kill to get ahead because they are cowards. What are they afraid of? They’re afraid of doing hard work. They’re afraid they don’t have what it takes. They’re afraid they are unqualified and must cheat to win.

Donald Trump has been such a coward all his life. Greedy cowards side-step laws and eventually develop the mentality that they are above the law. That’s exactly what happened to Trump. He spent a lifetime cheating to win – using lawyers to side-step our laws. Now that we’ve given him the mantle of the presidency he just wants to say he is the law, or he alone is above the law -just like a greedy cowardly autocrat.

I realize greed has been around for a very long time and is not going away. The ideals of the individual do not, and will never align with the ideals of the society. This is just biology. Darwinism.

But we were on the path to a fix here in America after WW11. And the fix was simple: a progressive tax system.  All we need to do is reinstate the tax and monopoly laws that were in place then, adjusting then for today’s reality, and I think that golden age can return. It’s not that hard to do. But we have to get greed, corruption and money out of politics to do it, right?

And we can’t do any of this with the leadership we have now. Trump represents the very embodiment of a twisted greedy soul.

Yesterday, somebody very wise told me that “crap rises to the top before it’s flushed away”. Maybe that’s a necessary step. washMaybe we must see our problem to eliminate it. We are seeing the dirt rise to the top almost every day.  Maybe that will be the Trump Cycle’s historical meaning: a much needed 4 -year cleaning cycle.  The Trump Era? Not! It’s the Trump Cycle – a much needed cleaning cycle.

Progressive taxation does not eliminate personal greed, but it helps by making it harder for wealth to pool at the top. It does this while not stifling capitalism. Nothing else will work to restore harmony in America. There is no other way to pay for healthcare, infrastructure and all the things we need. All else is robbing Peter to pay Paul.  All else is word salad. They used to call it double-talk.

So yes, we clearly need new leadership in the USA. We need to get the current president, all his appointees and any that align with him – out of office.

Unchecked greed is the root cause to all our societal ills. We can legislate our way out of this mess, the way we did after WW11. Sharing our common wealth more evenly is the cure for most of out ills.

The capitalistic system will break when the gap between the rich and poor gets too great. Then it’s 1929 all over again. A communist system also has a break point. It’s all about the wealth gap.

A resistance has emerged. Here it’s the resistance. There it’s ISIS. This dogfight persists until there is a full-blown revolution. We are on that path. We all can feel that as a distinct possibility. Some call it an impending constitutional crisis.

The way out is the 2018 midterms. Vote out all elected official aligned with Donald Trump. Look to elect those who appear to have more socialistic, compassionate, people-oriented viewpoints. We can reset our American society, but we need the right people in Congress to do it. The people in charge now never had any desire to help us. Most got into politics for self promotion. And greed is not good.

Heather Heyer was the first visible martyr of the resistance.

Rest in power.

How to Stop a Deplorable President

Let’s face it. By any standard, we have a truly deplorable person in the highest office in the land. He is all of the above on every level. Trump is also a criminal money launderer, tax evader, draft-dodger, misogynist, rapist, narcissist, and a compulsive liar. The SCOTUS pick is lining up to be the straw that can break a 250 year-old democracy’s back here in the USA. If Trump gets his pick, they can allow him to pardon himself, fix the 2018 elections the way Putin does in Russia, and then its all over.

de·plor·a·ble adjective: deserving strong condemnation.“The prisoners were held in deplorable conditions”. Synonyms: disgraceful, shameful, dishonorable, unworthy, inexcusable, unpardonable, unforgivable, lamentable, regrettable, unfortunate, wretched, atrocious, awful, terrible, dreadful, diabolical.

Let’s face it. By any standard, we have a truly deplorable person in the highest office in the land. He is all of the above on every level. Trump is also a criminal money launderer, tax evader, draft-dodger, misogynist, rapist, narcissist, and a compulsive liar.

He agreed to play ball with Putin to win our election and now they are getting ready for the next steps. Remember this. Putin was not born rich like Trump. Putin stole 100% of his 150 billion dollars in Russian assets. And step-by-step he is teaching Trump how to do the same here. Not that Trump did not know how to cheat and steal. He’s done that all his life. But Putin knew how to make the theft permanent, by eliminating justice. That’s what Trump needs.

Trump is trying to legally become the first dictator of the USA. And if he gets away with it, the American democracy as we know it may be ruined for the foreseeable future.

putin-hockeyClick on the image to listen to what Putin said at a USSR hockey game to our CBS reporter. He said this with an undeniable smirk “Trump is acting in accordance with his own government”.

If you read between the lines, the way you always should with politicians, Putin’s statement seems to be about Comey’s firing but the undercurrent is about some sort of struggle Trump is having with his own government. Putin is saying, in effect, that Trump would prefer not to have an adversarial US government to deal with – (the way Putin has it in Russia as an elected dictator), but that he is not breaking any US laws. He is in accordance. So it’s all OK. They are both trying to use our own laws, to make Trump/Putin the czars of planet earth.

And Trump realizes he has no real friends among the clear-headed rulers on the planet. So he cozies up to dictators to learn how they do it. How they get power. How they retain power. That’s what these international summits are all about anyway.

The SCOTUS pick is lining up to be the straw that can break a 250 year-old democracy’s back here in the USA. If Trump gets his pick, they can allow him to pardon himself, fix the 2018 elections the way Putin does in Russia, and then its all over.

There has been talk of Murkowski and Collins flipping and refusing to confirm Trump’s pick for fear of Rowe vs Wade being scuttled. There is talk that Flake, Corker and Paul may have develop a conscious and obstruct the coupe d’etat that Trump needs to skirt justice and avoid paying for the laws he broke to acquire his wealth and presidency.

First things first. NO DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE SHOULD GET THE BACKING OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY in 2018 IF THEY WILL VOTE FOR TRUMP’S SCOTUS. This cannot be an option! We must all stand together – all 49 of us. And we must publicly commit to that ASAP. Once we have that commitment, we can figure out how to get a few decent GOP senators to hold this up.

But without that commitment, we are fighting an uphill battle on too many fronts. It does not bode well – unless we get the full support of 49 democratic senators – and NOW – not later. No waiting to see who he picks. They will all be “sold out” regardless of what they say or don’t say. They have all been schooled not to talk about Rowe v. Wade already. They know women hold the supreme voting power here in the USA this cycle. If women largely unify, nothing can break their solidarity. Not even a Russian bot repeat attack.

I own RussianTrollSites.com and will donate that site to anyone or group who will develop a script that lists all the continuing Russian efforts to undermine free and fair elections here in the USA, like they did in 2016.

After that united commitment, we figure out how to pressure the right GOP senators through the constituents in their states, and get them to do the right thing for the USA.

To Mueller I say this. Strategically, this is like a baseball game in many ways. If Trump gets to pick his SCOTUS it’s like having a top tier relief pitcher on your team in the extra innings. Our momentum will get shut down.

So Mueller: If you are betting that doing a perfect job over the next few years is better than doing a pretty decent job NOW – I would re-think that strategy. Once Trump gets to SCOTUS, all your work can potentially go down the drain. You can be sure that will be Trump’s best hope and he will work to that end tirelessly.

Mueller: It is better to do some scoring now, in the late middle innings. Make Trump look guilty NOW, in front of the USA and his own base. Get it done before he even announces a pick. If Trump can be made to look to the pubic like the criminal he really is – then at least a few senators are not going to want to do down in history as the ones who let a criminal POTUS buy a SCOTUS and effectively end the rule of law and the 250 year-old American democracy.

And a few is all we need if we insist that all Dems stand together or lose their party standing and support. Trump needs to win at any cost to keep his stolen wealth.  It’s also what Putin wants to happen and he will work to make that happen gladly. They are both greed monsters. And there are many others GOP lieutenants afflicted with the same greed disease – and they would love to see America be over if they can make a buck planning in it’s demise.

It’s time to be bold. Release the hounds Robert Mueller. We will do our part with our Dem senators.

There is one more important thing to say.

Did you know we can make it TEN JUSTICES of even ELEVEN,
if we take back both houses? NINE is NOT in the constitution.
It’s up to Congress. Totally.
Everything spins the right way for democracy, if we just take back both houses.
Criminal POTUS Trump will become as malleable as Silly Putty, in a Democratic Congress.
Self-preservation is his only MO.
This news on ten justices came in from Richard Painter to me via email reply. However, Norm Einstein added that it could take also a willing president. Though that sounds unlikely at first thought, the truth is if we pressure him properly for his crimes, I think Trump will do WHATEVER we want, if we gain control of Congress. He has no real love for the GOP – or anyone except himself.

This post below discusses Trump’s hollow promise of a better economy. For those who think they are better off economically with Trump, remember what happened with Bush, our last GOP president.

Why You Can’t Preach Jesus on Sunday and Speak Well of Trump on Monday

One can no longer respect institutions that preach the teachings of Jesus Christ on Sunday, and speak well of Donald Trump on Monday. We are only facing a constitutional crisis in the USA because we are failing to address the moral crisis of remaining silent about a president who lacks decent character by any standard of measurement.

My Letter to Pastors, Preachers, Rabbis and Teachers in The United States

When Roy Moore was running to represent Alabama in the senate, I sent an email to all the Baptist pastors in Alabama, and asked them to make the sermon of their lives. I don’t know how many pastors took my advice or even read my email. But three wrote back, and I felt I did what I had to do. Roy Moore, a known child molester, did not become a US senator. And for that, we are all thankful to Alabamans.

I am calling on pastors to create a well thought-out and coordinated Sunday Sermon to address how to best preserve our American democracy and the rule of law.  Many Americans believe we have a president who is trying to obstruct or skirt justice for acts he committed as part of an unholy life, motivated by ego, greed and a complete lack of respect for others.

I am aware that many Evangelist pastors supported Donald Trump and many probably (not all) still do.  Now that we all have had 18 months to see how he performs and who he really is, if you still actively or passively support Trump you should reconsider. You are making a big mistake for yourself, your community and the country. This short letter will explain why.

First, think on the kids of Parkland, Florida. I wondered why these 16-year old students  have such strident idealism and also the support of so many American right now.  I thought back to when I was 16  – and it hit me.

There are two special times in a person’s life when one can possibly afford the luxury of being idealistic. The first of those times is when you are a teenager in the home of a well-to-do loving parent. Because the roof over your head and meals are paid for by your parents, you have the time to ponder what seems right to you in life and stand up for that with your heart, soul and at least your spoken words.

But what happened to the idealism of the hippie generation of the 1960’s? They graduated college and went out into the world to make a buck. And after a few years of that struggle ( which was much less of a struggle back then than it is today ) the hippie youthful idealism was gone. All but vanished. And soon, an “it’s all about me” generation was in power. And by the 1980’s we even heard “greed was good.”

In Paul Simon’s song, El Condor Pasa, the lyrics say “A man gets tied up to the ground, he gives the world its saddest sound.” I did not understand the meaning of those lyrics as a young man, but I do now. It’s actually a Peruvian folk song and it means while men have to struggle to get by or make ends for a family, it’s easy to lose their idealistic dreams. The loss of their youthful idealism is the world’s saddest sound

A man’s life re-opens to idealism after a proper retirement. After we have brought up our families, paid our mortgages and bills more or less, and are covered for life, we can afford to get back in touch with our lost youthful idealism.  Between the ages of 21 and 65, its hardest to remain idealistic. It’s why I think older retired folks make better politicians than people with families to nurture.

Which brings me to why you must make the sermon of your life again very soon, but this time your congregation needs to hear about what Jesus would have said about Donald Trump and what defines justice today. Because if you fail to rally teenagers to Jesus’s point of view, you lose them for life. And most teenagers can see through Donald Trump, even though many of their parents can’t.  Anyone can certainly can see Trump does not possess the qualities of a holy or even a good man according to the teachings of Jesus.

Let me go over some of Jesus’s teaching, to highlight just how far Trump is from being a man worthy of respect.

  • For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Trump never served anyone in his life.)
  • But I say to you, Love your enemies … ( Trump is so off-base here, he even asks that we hate some of our neighbors.)
  • Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone.
  • For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul? ( I think this is the most fitting for Mr. Trump, since it speaks to profit and greed. Trump has repeatedly shown he is willing to step on anyone for profit. )

Preachers. Teachers. Pastors. I don’t have to tell you how never-Trump Jesus was. Before you advocate for Trump again, or fail to use your pulpit to advocate against Trump, who now clearly represents a sort of anti-Christ incarnate, think on your teenagers! You are losing them right now, in the most idealistic part of their lives.

Today’s teenagers will grow to become adults, as we all do. But Trump-era teenagers will have no respect for institutions that preach the teachings of Jesus Christ on Sunday, and speak well of Donald Trump on Monday.

Our idealistic teenagers just can’t square that circle in their minds. And now that I am semi-retired, neither can I.

Dear preachers and teachers,

trump-christ2Please share this memo along with your own thoughts on this matter with your community and fellow religious leaders. We are only facing a constitutional crisis in the USA because we are failing to address the moral crisis of remaining silent about a president who lacks decent character by any standard of measurement.

This is particularly noticeable in Congress. Your representatives do not get to tell you what is right. They represent you. You have to know what is right. And you have to tell them to represent your ideas, not the other way around. But first, one has to formulate those ideas and that takes some introspection. Remember, most politicians are self-serving opportunists who are not in the least idealistic. Idealism is supposed to be the realm of religion. Lose idealism, and you can forget respect for your religious teachings going forward.

Thank You for your considerations.

I am open you your thoughts at: josepharonesty@gmail.com

Are We Witnessing a Coup d’Etat of the United States Government?

Today, in the wake of Charlottesville affair, I hear people are saying the top GOP heads are not turning on Trump because they are afraid of losing the votes of Trump’s base. Some part of that rings true. But I don’t think its all or even half of the truth here.

In the aftermath of Charlottesville, most GOP heads and cabinet members are still not turning on Trump. Some reporters say they are afraid of losing the votes of Trump’s base. Some part of that rings true. But I don’t think its all, or even half of the truth.

A major sect of Trump’s base reared its ugly head in Charlottesville. The only Americans who truly identify with the hatred we witnessed are actual members of the Klan, White Supremacists and Nazis.  The KKK even thanked Donald Trump for equating their status with the status of those who represented racial tolerance. These hateful mobs now seem to think they have some control or influence on Trump.  And Trump controls the nukes. That puts these right-wing groups just one degree of separation away from total global annihilation.

You would think the GOP would have enough patriots among its roster of career politicians to muster the guts to make a statement against the president’s alt-left rant. They know, as we all do, that Trump is bad for the GOP and America. And yet, though we hear the GOP leaders saying things like, “we reject Nazism”, we don’t much hear, “we reject the Trump’s divisive racial statements”. The GOP will never get a better opportunity to reject Donald Trump’s appalling leadership.

And yet that does not seem to be happening.  I no longer think its because they are afraid of alienating Trump supporters. It’s clear that his words were very ugly to the vast majority of Americans. This was the time to call out anyone who would not totally reject neo-Nazis. Trump has not really done that, but his GOP associates still won’t call him out by name for this failure. It would seem to be the smartest thing they could do for their own careers. They must be aware that standing with Trump will have consequences in 2018.

So GOP leadership, what’s the hold up?

It would be easy for me to cut directly to conclusion I have drawn, but I want to now sort of go over some key elements and tells of what we have witnessed.

Does anyone remember the time first Trump said that he would be president for the next four years. He went on to say, “maybe much longer”. Then he corrected that message with “maybe 8 years, but we’ll see”.

Where did that “much longer” thought come from in his brain? Was he imagining his reign would last as long as he is alive? Is that why his family members have West Wing positions? Does he picture himself like William the Conqueror in England, first in a long line of aristocratic kings? It sort of seems that way, does it not?

Why did Trump get caught saying this early in his presidency, “They only know what you tell them?” Where did that thought come from in his brain? Did he know it would soon come to censoring the press to hide his life of crime?

Trump is not a poker player. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. It’s not only we who can see through him, but all those around him can too. Even if they did not fully know Trump played ball with the Russians in the 2016 election when it was going on, they would, by now, suspect this by his body language and the mounting evidence.  Comey did. Mueller does I am sure.

And yet, these Trump-installed GOP leaders say nothing. What really is holding them back?

It hits me today, as it should any logical person. In the wake of the relative silence that is coming from the GOP right now, only one thing makes sense.

Trump’s election tampering is known by more than just the Trumps. Other key players in the GOP and his cabinet are in on this. Only then, does the GOP silence make real sense.

Only one thing makes sense: Trump’s election tampering is known by more than just the Trumps.

The Trumps, Bannon, Kushner, McConnell, Sessions, Ryan, Tillerson, Ross, Flynn, Manifort, Pence, Elaine Chao – what if they all know about the Russian meddling?

They are all then complicit. Would they not all have sworn allegiance their common cause, whatever they think that cause is?

cabinetNow add one more important name to that list – Vladimir Putin. Putin initiated and orchestrated the 2016 election meddling, so he would know all the American players.

It’s bad enough that all the American players in this coupe would have sworn an oath of allegiance and pledged secrecy. But the kicker now is that Vladimir Putin has the dirt on all of them. And Putin is in control of Wikileaks! So all the players (Trump included) fear Putin way more than disaffecting Trump’s so-called base.

So then. Only one thing really makes sense. The GOP’s top leaders are also suborned. They can not speak against Trump because they were in on it all. Those on the lower rungs of the GOP power structure are just ambitious followers who don’t want to believe what they likely suspect. They will not speak out of cowardice. The suborned and the cowards, defines 95% of the GOP.  Hence the silence.

So now I must address the few prominent GOP leaders who still seem to have some patriotism or a semblance of a spine. I ask my reader citizens to ask their Republican representatives to stand up to Trump now.

John McCain. Please remind Americans that when it was Trump’s time to serve, he feigned a foot injury. ( It’s true. It’s really easy to say. Trump will hate it. And Americans may finally wake up on that meme alone. ) Call him out the way he did you! I know you feel Trump is currently not fit to serve. We need to hear it from you, John McCain, more than anyone. You have reached the station in life where you are truly a natural leader. Speak out. Flex your power. No one has more GOP respect than you sir. We need to hear from you … now!

Lindsay Graham. You said everything you did worthwhile in government, you did with John McCain. It’s time to join him and speak truth to power. You will have no resistance in this country, except from the Trumps. And that should be fine with you. We know you guys are not suborned. You are among GOP members we can trust.

John Kasich. Even Democrats could see you were a decent person. But call him out by name. He showed you no respect during the campaign. Why do you now kowtow to him in any way? We need you to be a leader. We don’t have one in the White House.

Jeb Bush and the Bush Presidents. Your family has been there. You know what is going on with the Trumps more than anyone. Reveal your deepest thoughts on Donald Trump on the public airwaves…  tomorrow, please!

Vladimir Putin is pulling all the strings here now. He has the main actors in the US government suborned. The US is effectively his country now.

Citizens and statesmen, ask yourselves these questions.

  • Why do you think Trump wanted the electoral information from the states? *
  • Why do you think voter suppression laws are being re-instated? Does that not feel like the fix is going to be in again in 2018?
  • What makes anyone think that the Russians are still not at work fixing things here in the United States election systems?
  • What has Trump done to shut down election meddling? The post office has a better receipt system than our electoral process. Why is open-sourced election systems not a needed infrastructure upgrade right now? It’s not even expensive. That is really an easy job. I don’t get it. Do you?
  • Why did Trump blurb out, “I might be president for a much longer time than four years.” I think he knows that the crimes he has committed are so egregious that his only way out is to throw the US government into a chaos and then legally create a fascist police state to “stabilize” it.
  • And what was he really thinking when he said “fire and fury such as the word has never known.”? Who is he trying to scare. Korean? Americans? Or the entire world?
  • Does this presidency even feel right to you?

I myself think Putin is planning a new world order. He has enrolled a power-zealous Trump and helped him win an election. Many know about the fix. He wants payback.

And that is a coup d’état.

That’s about how they did it in the Russian revolution.  Now, they need chaos. Riots in the streets. War. The dictators in Iraq, Syria, and even ISIS operate best in chaos. This week, Bannon is still asking for more chaos through his safe post at Breitbart. Tic toc.

The next steps is are an active war, martial law, and silencing the press. Maybe some fire and fury.

Then its game over.

Republicans, stop this now! It is the only way you can still emerge as the heroes in this mess. Don’t you even see that?

Petitioning the Five Living Presidents to Weigh In on Donald Trump’s Mental Fitness to be President.

Honorable Presidents: I can’t pretend to know what you would say if you had to answer the question, “Do you think Donald Trump in competent to be president?”, but if you love this country the way I think you all do, this is no time to be silent.

To Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush, George Bush Sr., and Barack Obama:

unfit

Background: Every day Trump has been in office, we are spending countless millions of American taxpayer dollars – not to make healthcare better, not to make infrastructure better, not even to build his wall. Every one of the 100+ days he has been in office we are wasting energy and taxpayer dollars, guarding his many homes, paying for his golf games, and now defending potential criminal activity, which we hear about in the endless discussions that proceed ad nauseum. It seems to be paralyzing the entire country. It seems dangerous as well.

In many ways, you are all uniquely qualified to judge, based on observing his first three months’ performance, whether you think Donald Trump seems mentally competent to be president of our United States.  You alone know firsthand what the job demands. You alone can really judge whether Trump has the temperament, experience or heart to be a POTUS.

The America you faithfully served, now hangs in the balance. It’s as if we are a headless country, and it may stay be that way until we can vote again in 2018. It has even occurred to me that maybe we should move that midterm vote up a year to 2017. What are we waiting for? If Donald Trump is not fit to be POTUS, then none of his cabinets appointees can be considered as being selected for the good of the country. They may all have to go. We may have to start again and as soon as possible. We can’t be expected to work with a compromised POTUS, and he seems to be trying to block the paths to the truth, or obstructing justice. His ratings are at a historical low. He does not have the confidence of most Americans.

To many, his refusal to show his taxes, seems either irresponsible, deceptive or both. In spite of what he says, he does not seem to have the best interests of Americans at heart as he continues to speak and tweet in an inconsistent manner, depending on what he wants people to think that moment. In light of the probing into the Russian hack of our election, and regardless of whether concealing taxes is legal, it cannot be helpful to the cause of finding the truth to reveal taxes. The only thing that makes any sense to most folks is that he has something to hide.

Honorable Presidents: I can’t pretend to know what you would say if you had to answer the question, “Do you think Donald Trump is competent to be president?”, but if you love this country the way I think you all do, this is no time to be silent.

Please just speak your minds openly.

Your fellow citizens need to hear from you … and very soon!
